Memorize and Understand John 3:16
Definitions:
One
of the best known and most loved verses of scripture for Christians is
John 3:16. The reason it is so loved is because of how it expresses
God’s love and His plan for every person. Memorizing this verse gives
you a place to turn when the challenges of life cause you to question
God’s love. This verse is a refuge in place to remind you that God loves
you. God did not just say He loved you; He proved it. He gave “His one
and only Son.” This loving gift makes it possible for you to have a
relationship with Him, and this relationship means that you will live
forever with Him in Heaven.
Scripture:
John 3:16
"For
God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
Psalm 119:11
“Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”
