Reading Buddy Training

Sunday, October 5, from 12:15 PM until 1:30 PM in the Parlor.

You can make a difference in the life of a child. Volunteers are needed to meet with a child at June Davis Elementary School to help practice reading skills.

Sunday Ride

Men and women are invited to bring their motorcycles to Southcliff on Sunday, October 12. We will have a special section reserved for you to park your bike. You are encouraged to attend whichever Worship Service / Grow Group you choose. Afterwards (around 12:30 PM) we will get organized and ride our bikes out of the city to a location for lunch. After lunch, we will ride around for about an hour and get back to the church by 2:30 PM. Everyone is invited, no matter your faith background. If you ride, this is a great opportunity to invite friends.

If you plan to attend, please sign up at the Share Center so we know how to plan and can communicate details.

dances, costume contests, connecting with friends, and family photos all
while making family memories.

Alpha is a 9-week course on the basics of Christianity. It is open to all adults, no matter their background or beliefs. It features engaging videos, light refreshments, and plenty of conversation.

Alpha will meet at Southcliff in room E109 on Wednesdays from 6:30 PM until 7:45 PM beginning September 24. For parents, children's and youth activities are available at the same time.

Men's Day Trip to the DFW Car and Toy Museum

Saturday, September 27 from 10:00am - 2:00pm

Men of all ages are invited to an outing to the largest automobile museum in Texas. We will meet at the church at 10:00 AM and take our buses to the museum in North Fort Worth. Not only will we be able to see the cars in the museum, there is a Veterans Car and Bike Show in the parking lot that morning. Admission is free. At Noon we will leave the museum and head to the Black Bear Diner for lunch (bring $$).

You are welcome to invite your sons and grandsons to this fun event that is family friendly.

This is a great opportunity for men to invite friends, neighbors, and coworkers. You can sign up at the Share Center or email share@southcliff.com to make your reservation.

FREE ENGLISH CLASSES

We have English as a Second Language classes and a U.S. citizenship class on Thursdays beginning September 4 from 6:15 - 8:30 PM. Curriculum, preschool care, activities for children, and a meal are provided free of charge.

Days we meet: 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month
Who is invited to come? All 18-29 year olds in the Metroplex area. We currently do not have childcare but all are welcome to come participate with this community.
