“The Myth of More Time”

Dr. Kevin Rodgers
Scripture Focus: Matthew 3:1–12; 2 Corinthians 7:9–10 We live in a world where we know life is fleeting, yet we often operate under the illusion that we have all the time in the world—delaying what God has called us to do. In this message from Southcliff Baptist Church, guest preacher Dr. Kevin Rodgers (Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary / Texas Baptist College) examines the life and ministry of John the Baptist. Looking at Matthew chapter 3, Dr. Rodgers breaks down the urgent context of John's ministry, the piercing content of his message, and the necessity of true, life-changing repentance. Discover what it means to turn from sin, bear fruit in keeping with repentance, and make the most of every opportunity God gives us today.
