Serve at Special Events

Definitions:

Serving is a key way to thrive in your relationship with Christ. Experiencing opportunities to serve at individual events prepares you to see the needs of others and seek an ongoing ministry in which to serve. Even if you have already established a ministry team to serve with, you can stretch and grow your faith by seeking to serve at uniquely special events.

Scripture:

Galatians 6:10
“So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

Details:

• Big events are often remembered in your life because they have such an impact. The same is true about some of the special events at Southcliff. Because these events are not routine, it is likely that they will be making a huge impression on someone. You can be a part of something big!
• Special events are not routine, so they make it easy to try out different ministry areas and see what they are like, helping you find the right spot.
• Special events often encourage newcomers to participate. These events can be the launch pad of new relationships.
