Develop Your Faith Story

Each of you should be able, in a simple way, to share with someone what your life was like before you had a relationship with Christ, how you came to know Jesus as your Savior and Lord, and how He is working in your life now.

Scripture:

1 Peter 3:15
"Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence."

Details:

• Write out your faith story in three paragraphs.
• My life before Christ
• How I came to repent of my sins and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior
• My life in Christ now
• Practice speaking it aloud. Ask a trusted family member or friend to listen and critique any parts that are unclear. Look for opportunities to tell your faith story to family, friends, acquaintances, or work associates.
