Invite People To Join Your Grow Group
One of the key ways Southcliff encourages a thriving relationship
with Christ is through being a part of a Grow Group. The personal
relationships which feature encouragement, spiritual challenges,
scriptural learning, and prayer are not only important for you, but also
for others. The best way to help people find a Grow Group is through
personal invitation.
Scripture:
Ephesians 4:24-26
“Put
on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in
righteousness and holiness of the truth. Therefore, laying aside
falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, for we are
members of one another.”
1 Thessalonians 3:11-13
“Now
may our God and Father Himself and Jesus our Lord direct our way to
you; and may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one
another, and for all people, just as we also do for you; so that He may
establish your hearts without blame in holiness before our God and
Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.”
Details:
- Ask people you know what Grow Group they are a part of, and invite them to your group if they do not have one.
- Consider inviting people who may not have a church home but are looking for a spiritual community to join.
- Pick up a Grow Index from the Information desk at
Southcliff, and use it to be aware of other Grow Groups that meet in
case yours is not a good fit for someone.
- Follow up with anyone that feels your group is not a good fit to help them locate one that is better for them.
