Start A Grow Group
Being part of a Grow Group is one of the best ways for people to
thrive in their relationship with Christ. Grow Groups function best in
groups of 10-15 people because they have opportunities to grow deep
relationships - sharing struggles, joys, and sharing how God is working
in others’ lives.
Mature Christians are challenged to start Grow Groups in order to
provide the most possible opportunities for others to participate.
Starting a Grow Group does NOT require you to be a strong leader, a
great teacher, or a ‘perfect’ Christian. It simply requires a
facilitator who is willing to step forward to find people who will join a
Grow Group as the teacher and leader. The primary skill required is a
willingness to allow God to use you to grow a group of people in their
faith.
Scripture:
Proverbs 27:17
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.”
